Anyone have any input for a good LS tuner in NW Ohio or SE Michigan (or remote tuning options)? Son had his '04 LS1 6MT GTO on a mobile dyno this weekend. Granted it was in a really hot parking lot and they let him do the driving, so who knows how valid the numbers really are (probably not very), but with 243 heads, TSP 228 cam, LTs, & full catless exhaust he only put down 334 whp. Plus it stinks to high heaven (rich). Even though it seems to run well (and discounting his disappointing dyno run), he should probably have the tune checked by a pro anyway to verify it's good. Thanks for any input.

I have suggested Pat G to him. I think he'd prefer a local-ish shop for a hands-on tune vs remote tuning. Don't know why it would make any difference, as long as the results are good. He's found Northwest Speed who says they'll Dyno tune it then road test/tweak it for $600 if he drops it off to them for a day (about 1 hr away). He's also gotten suggestions for Hartsel Performance in Tiffin. Anyone heard of either of them? Any good Detroit area LS tuners? There's 2 good tuner shops here in Toledo with dynos, but they're both import specialists.

I can't be of any help - every local tuner or shop I've used has fucked up majorly in some way. When you're running a shop to make a living, taking extra time to dial in a run-of-the-mill build isn't likely to happen.

I did use Pat G and found him quite good, but I also spent some time to further refine my tune to my liking. The average Joe would be very pleased with his work though.

I'm quite open about my willingness to trade sexual favors for tuning assistance.... So I'd appreciate it if you'd stop slut-shaming me and use my proper title: businessman.

Probably should wait a month till he's 18 before you make such a proposition.
