Got an Airaid intake since consensus was the intake that came included with my used V2 was not worth reinstalling but, because I'm cheap, I bought one on eBay from a wrecked car and it's missing some stuff. Little support bracket I can probably figure out without a pattern, but the larger plate at the airbox is missing and I think I could brake a replacement if someone could perhaps give me the relevant dimensions, or even better has one on a shelf they won't need for a while (torn down for a motor build, perhaps?) that I could use to mock up my replacement panel. Mostly need to know the offset/angle that the missing piece creates.

Thanks for any help.

I have some rough dimensions. But my machinist protractor is at work If you can wait until Tuesday I can draw it up in Sheetmetal CAD or just give you a accurate enough pencil sketch. On the 10 3/4 and 3 1/4 edges the top returns 1 inch

Man I appreciate that very much, but I think I'm after a different piece.

That's the actual intake I bought, so I circled the void. I'll try to find a picture of what I'm after.

Number 5 is definitely what I'm missing, and probably a lot more small stuff. Certainly don't have any hardware, but figure that's easy enough to overcome.

I'll call them Tuesday and see if I can just buy #5 since that's got a few more bends than I was picturing. That's a bigger ask than I had in my head for someone to detail out for me.

Thanks for the help.

You should be able to buy just that part if you call Customer Service and probably the bracket you said you are also missing unless you just want to craft it yourself.

You will also need part #8 too.

Just wanted to close the loop that they couldn't have been nicer, or more willing to sell individual parts. I ended up getting the #5 plate and then the entire "hardware/small parts" kit to hopefully cover any other gaps. I was halfway expecting to be told that I would just have to buy a whole new system, but was pleasantly surprised to hear they will sell any part individually, if they have it. The adapter plate was back ordered but did have an expected in stock date of only a couple of weeks from now.

Thanks!

so.....in the end did you save any money buying used?
Should be less than $250 all-in. $110 shipped for the intake missing pieces and $110+shipping, (shipping TBD) for the parts from Airaid.

Check back with me after it's installed for my final answer, but so far I'm good with it.

Install went fine today aside from dropping damned ground bolt into some sort of worm hole. So the ebay gamble + awesome customer support from Airaid worked out well.

Glad it worked out for you. Make sure you get that ground bolt tight.

Snugged it down pretty good based on reading of others having issues that were potentially related to loose or missing ground bolt there. Glad I'd read that or I might have given up my search instead of pulling the belly pan to find it.
