Wanted to start a small thread about my build I am doing. Maybe this place is better to get help than over on Performancetrucks. My build is a 2000 Silverado single cab. Was a v6 then went to a 6.0l. Needed more power so did a ls3 top end. Added a t56 to it. Now go figure looking for more power with a Lsa. There was a lot of smaller updates to it but just getting high level over view for the goal at hand.

I think the RCSB look great! Fighting the urge to buy and build one myself! The extra torque from the blower would be a much appreciated addition, I’m sure! Haha

Do you have any info on the v6 to ls swap? I assume it would be pretty straightforward…

Here are some pics, and my link to my build thread over on performancetrucks. Couple questions for the lsa people here, I am trying to decide on heat exchanger, have it narrowed down to track attack and fluidyne. Since my trucks bumper doesnt flow air like a ctsv would the fluidyne is a low mount, can I mount that in center of my grill? If not I will just go with track attack.

What is a good pump if I can’t find a varimax? Really don’t want a Bosch either.
Pierburg CWA100 is a pretty good and popular option.

I have the space under the hood to run a 1.5 to 2 gallon. Haven’t picked one yet something that has AN fittings and sturdy. This is just a toy, bought a 2011 z71 new and didn’t want to trade in my high school truck. Thought to myself they don’t make many single cabs anymore maybe I need to hold it.
I have looked at that and even those are being scooped up. I am trying to figure out how to wire the pump up. Does it run full speed all the time and just need a hot like off ignition and a ground

Good for you on keeping your truck. So many cars I wish I had kept over the years.
I think most of these pumps are single speed. Some of the larger pumps are PWM compatible though. I'd keep it simple. Hot and ground! Use a relay switched by the ignition to power the pump directly from the battery. Don't forget a fuse within a foot of the battery connection.

Thanks man, ya my dad says same thing haha. I have some open fuse spots on the under hood electrical box. But been thinking about putting in a 6 or 8 blade circuit box and running new stuff like this pump off it.

Couldnt find much info on them from people but which is better a radium or aeroflow fuel rail? My truck is a return style fuel system and I will keep it that way. So the stock lsa fuel rail is a no go. What I dont like about the radium is it has open ports and you have to buy like a 170 dollar plumbing kit just to plug it.

I'm running Radium but that's cause they are in my neck of the woods. You can get by their "plumbing kit" by ordering parts from Amazon, but you are way better off just getting it from them. Also running the Pierberg pump. No complaints.

For a return style system, you will likely have to trim the aluminum behind the rails (as shown below) or buy very expensive 180 deg fittings to clear the rear of the supercharger.

The Fasster rails are pretty nice also.

You may have clearance issues with the rear of the alternator if you're still running the truck accessories.
I have the Corvette accessories on mine which are lower. You will likely need a sharp 90 deg fuel fitting on the left front also.

To power your recirc. pump you can easily power it from the main fuse box terminal to a relay that is activated from the existing fuel pump relay circuit.

I like your setup, gives me more ideas. I will run corvette accessories so that I can use 8 rib dedicated to blower. Not messing with truck stuff. I saw the fasster rails and yes they are china made maybe? Because the spelling is horrible on the description. I was hesitant but you never know.

I was looking at that drive or just regular race drive. I bet my truck won’t get over 600hp. Best it could mustard up was 400hp, without boost. I will only need alt and power steering. Don’t have a AC in it. Ya PS will need a little here as well as truck to corvette fittings might need changed.

What you guys running as far as a reservoir? Plastic, steel, stainless. This will be under hood at most 1 to 2 gallons. Choices are in abundance.

Nice looking options. Ya I already relocated my battery. Probably going to put the tank in the spot where my air intake use to be, lots of room there. The Lsa snout points the opposite direction.
