The Pocket Protector sits down by the brake duct along the frame rail. It provides a barrier separating the hot engine temps from entering the air intake area under the air filter.

This will be a nice addition to my current project. Bumper is off and engine is out. Timing couldn't be better.

SS1LE02 - I messaged you on your FB page. Is there any chance I can get a copy of the install instructions? I bought this set from a forum member here and am getting ready to install. From the pictures it doesn't seem terribly difficult, but wanted to make sure I had them in case. Thx.
