How do you reset the "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" in the center display? I looked in the manual and it is either not in there or I looked in the wrong spot. I had my oil life % getting low and changed the oil and reset that to 100% but then I also had a service vehicle soon come up about the same time which is showing every time you start the car but I am not sure how to reset that.

Did you try going to the Oil Life Monitor and pressing the check mark? That should reset it.

That resets the oil life, which like I said above I did. Oil life was down at like 17% or something around there and was reset to 100% but that other "service vehicle soon" always displays on start up and then I hit the arrow up or down to change the screen to show my miles until empty or whatever getting that service vehicle off the screen.

It means there is a "non-emissions system" fault detected. Most likely on the body side of the vehicle. No reset procedure unless you fix the problem or do a battery reset. If its a hard fault it will come back on.

Oh I see. I wonder if my Aeroforce gauge will pick it up and read it using the diagnostic scanning feature? I am not sure if it is only for engine related stuff or what but I could then reset the code or at least know what it is.

Aeroforce will read the DTC and can clear it for you as well

I don't know if those will read body codes or not but its worth a shot.

It didn't read anything, it said no codes. I will swing by an auto parts store and have them read it.

I honestly don't know that theirs will read them either. This may be a tech 2 type of deal or a real high dollar scanner.

I am currently having the same issue with my car right after an oil change. Mine is a 2005 ctsv. If you still remember where you’re arIf you still remember how were you able to solve this issue if at all.
