Been a while since I have been on the boards, life got in the way a bit. But to my question what is a realist price if selling my 2010 Black V with Recaro seats. Its at about 80k miles. Only thing not stock is the AirRaid CAI.
Was looking at trading it on something and either the dealers don't want or very low trade in value.
Any insights or suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks for the reply I was thinking that also, I was trying to get 28k and dealerships are trying to tell me 19k to 21k lol.

if the car presents well, has good tires, no curbed wheels, is clean- in today's market I would have no issue asking $32k, I would even say get a few hundred dollar detail and put it up for 33-34 and take anything around 30

Thanks for the replies and suggestions, definitely know dealership will low ball but do get a tax break when trading a car in..
Haven't driven mine is a while so maybe install new battery and enjoy it.
Another reason probably having a hard time is Carfax shows 3 accidents. None of them frame damage just cosmetic items. But I would pause also seeing 3 incidents.

I had almost the same exact situation.

About a year ago I sold my 09. It was silver, black, auto, recaros, sunroof, no accidents, with 75k. Dealer offered 21k and I said not without a gun to my head. Next day I put it on Cars.com and sold it in two days for 27500. Probably could've sold it for more based on the amount of interest I had but I didn't want to lose the other V that was replacing it.

then in my opinion the 3 carfax accidents make this a mid 20k car if you can somehow prove the incidents were minor

the dealer offer of 19-20k is not that bad

Go to CarGurus.com put in Cadillac CTS V and they’ll have your identical car somewhere in the nation. Prices, mileage and value! That way you can see what to truly expect. You may be surprised at the value these days

PS NEVER EVER EVER trade in a car! Stealerships will take you to the cleaners when they know you have the “car buying bug”. It’s a disease, and clouds your judgement! Patience my friend will put a lot of money in your pocket

I'm in no rush and I can't stand the Stealerships, I just like to toy with them, especially the truly scrummy ones. I have looked at some similar online but of coarse those are inflated retail prices.
I knew this site would give me a more realistic pricing. :D
Yes the accidents were minor and I can see where they blended the paint. The Caddy shop I used had a very V friendly service manager, the moderate accident as carfax reports got the car pretty much the all the front suspension replaced. it drives better then when i brought it. I need to get it out and enjoy it
