Anyone besides myself going to the Rolex 24 on January 28/29? If so, are you going to be in the Cadillac V Corral?

You definitely should check it out. It is quite an event. You can walk all around the track. Get pit passes - they are worth it. You can come and go as you please, so you can bring your own refreshments and food. If you take beverages inside, just make certain they are in cans, not bottles. This includes beer. We used to go back outside and eat and drink, but I will be in the V Corral this year, so we will see what that is all about. Be sure to BRING EAR PLUGS. Trust me, you will hear the cars. After a few hours you don't even need to look at the track to recognize what car is driving by. You can totally tell by sound, and believe me it is aural sex.

I SO wanted to go, but its pinewood derby that weekend.....

Oh, well you are making the right decision. I would most definitely attend the Pinewood Derby if I were invited.

Has anyone heard about this year? WTF? Is Cadillac even having a Suite and V Corral? I spent about a half hour "chatting" with an operator who really tried to find out anything about the Cadillac Corral but I ended up with nothing new. I am officially pissed off.

Unfortunately, the website reads "coming soon". Whenever soon is. And for some car corral held somewhere, not necessarily Rolex24. Which will thoroughly piss me off beyond belief at Cadillac. The Suite thing has totally spoiled me, especially when there is miserable weather which is what our weatherman has forecasted for then.

I fired off an email to Cadillac Promotions and I expect no answer. Tickets to the V Corral went on sale for last year's race on December 21 (2017) or so. No rush, the big show is only two weeks away.

Okay, there is help on the horizon. I am of the "when I see it I will believe it" concept. Kinda like when my wife asks me when I will get home. "When you hear the door slam!"

Just got the same email from a woman named Stephanie - tickets go on sale this evening. Glad I will be staying home tonight and don't have plans. I partied pretty hard last night, so it works out just right for me.

We take beer in with us every year. We just put it in a back pack with some additional clothes. They're good about it. With our cars parked right there it's great!
