Hey all, So I've got 40K on my 2013 CTS V and the Diff is bad. The dealership says it needs to be replaced but wont be covered under warranty. Has anyone had any luck getting Cadillac to pay for these? Clearly there is a problem with them.

Not outside of warranty. Feel free to start a class-action lawsuit if you got the drutherz.

The diff seems to be around $2k direct from GM suppliers, but you have to drop the entire rear suspension basically to get at it and it's a few days worth of work, then an alignment...

My wild ass guess is its going to be a "$2800 part" with mark up and another $2-3k in labor, depending on their hourly rate and blue book time.

Ball Park, expect to write a check for $5-6k with no guarantee it will not happen again.

This is why I went aftermarket and did it myself.
