Question for others who service at caddy dealer

Do your dealers still provide loaner vehicles for every service visit (obviously aside of oil change)? Please indicate if you're under factory warranty, extended or out of warranty. Curious how other dealers are doing things as ours has sadly gone from very good to very poor. Guessing maybe a post covid hangover but frustrating none the less.

last time i went to one they didnt give me a loaner because they said it may not be under warranty, so im going to say it's dealer discretion
-quid pro quo / tit for tat-
Usually, if you purchased the car from a given dealer, and you not only have them do just the warranty work, but also the service work which pays them, they will give you a loaner.
Dealer dependent. The Caddy dealership where I take my V didn't do loaners even when the car was under warranty. The dealership where I bought the car, which is quite a bit further away, but is also where I've since bought two Rovers for my wife, will actually come and get the car for service. They drive up in a loaner and drive our car back, then return it and take the loaner when service is done. Very convenient.

That's the way we did it at Cadillac Dealers I worked for back in the 1960's.

My wife has an Audi Q7 and the dealer we purchased the car from will do that.
Infiniti did the same for even a simple oil change
I got a loaner when I had a set of tires installed. For a while my dealer was very short of loaners so they set up a Lyft account and if I needed a ride I just called the dealer and they ordered the ride
My Audi dealer will pick up cars for service. It'll be a cold day in hell if I ever let anyone drive my car. I was cruising on the local freeway one day and I saw two Audis driving batshit crazy. One had a regular plate, one a dealer plate. That convinced me right there - never!
During Covid they said absolutely no loaners. They only provided shuttle service. Once things cooled off they only provided a loaner if your car was not drivable for more than a few days. Both times I went, it was for small stuff like CF trim peeling, and the seatbelt tensioner failing. It was a pain because I had to leave my car there for 1-2 days to be diagnosed, then bring my car back months later when the parts arrived.

I tell my guys when working inside someone’s boat assume you are being recorded.
im sure they’re some dickheads still left in the world but I assume they think the same and don’t want the dealership to end up as an online article with the internet mob raising pitchforks
