I don't know where this is coming from? I just got my car back from the performance shop. Anyone have this happen to them?

Upper pulley looks normal to me. Sounds like bearings.

Wouldn't the car notify me if it was low?

My car made the same noise. Turned out I didn't clean the pulleys good after coolant spilled out when changing the thermostat. Noise went away after I replaced the belt. Once the belt is contaminated with coolant, oil, or other residue it will make that squealing sound. Try running a bar of soap on the groove side while the car is running and see if the sound goes away.

The PS res doesn't need to be really low to make some crazy noise.

Highly doubt it. Takes less than a minute to check the level.

If you installed a 100mm idler pulley check to see if it's touching the pulley directly next to it.

Found the problem. We had to replace the belt. They said something fell on it, in other words it was dirty. No biggie.

Pulled over and rolled down the windows and it was really loud.
After a few minutes it quit.
Same thing happened the next day. Took it into the dealer yesterday.
Got a call from the dealership last night, they are replacing the supercharger under warranty (19,900 miles on car)

They had to replace mine as well under warranty. Kinda kool because the charger is what usually gives out before engine. Now we are on the up and up.
