Well, after a few "YEARS" of looking (I REALLY Wanted a CTS-V Wagon), and taking a Side Road (2016 Chevy SS), I finally found a "UNICORN".

This is my SECOND "V". I have a 2005 CTS-V that will be leaving the stable, but, that's okay. I picked it up as a lease return with just over 9,000 miles on it.

This car is a 2018, lease return, with 9,500 miles on it. It's white, luxury package, Recaro's, but NO CARBON package.

In my mind the TWO body/exterior mod's I'm looking at are the Carbon Fiber Hood Vent, and the LARGE Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler.

My biggest dilemma right now is, do I DRIVE it home, or do I have it shipped. It's on the east coast, and I'm in Arizona. It would be about 2,300 miles to get it home.

I'm leaning towards going and getting it, and driving it home.....It's a car, and it's meant to be driven, right?

I do think a Roto-FAB is the first easy choice. Then I'm not sure.....I kinda want to say under the factory warranty for awhile. Too much "TECH" in the car that can go wrong, and that stuff's BIG BUCKS.....

If you are starting on the East Coast, route planning should include Deal's gap, BRP at the least. Add almost ANY road in Arkansas but include Hwy 23 (Pig Trail), State hwy 123, Hwy 7, 21 oh gosh... Talimena drive in OK and then it will get flat boring after that....

Are you on your way home with it yet?

I did the Fly ‘n Drive in 2013 to buy a Craigslist CVO Ultra down in Austin.
Last January I did it again... to Austin again(!) to buy my FBM V coupe. Within a couple of miles from where the bike used to live.
It is a great experience in my view. Well worth doing.

Nope, it's still at the dealership. I've got the paperwork done, it's just finding a hole in my schedule that'll work.

I'm trying to talk them into doing the Transmission TSB. I think they're holding off until they cash the check.

I can't wait......

Little pricey but it does everything you could need, have one in the V and another in the work truck. Paired with the Waze app it’s the best insurance you could ask for.

Agreed. It's the best detector I've had and i was preceded by a 9500ix and it by an 8500x 50 or somesuch.
I wish there was an update to fix the Laser portion that is 1. useless and 2. falses once in a while.
EDIT: its actually the 360C and that is really an important detail because it can use a hotspot to connect real time the "Escort live" cloud-based connected systems and link other Escort detectors on your route to yours. So you'll get an alert that someone three miles ahead... got an alert on theirs.

I almost bought the C but didn’t see much difference at the time. The laser thing is crazy, when you’re hit it sounds like it will explode and by then it’s too late. I do enjoy the speed trap and red light camera alerts though. The arrows are worth the price, knowing where the signal is coming from is awesome.

Yes the arrows are the bomb. I do wish they'd make one simple change... have the last used arrow STAY ON for a second or two after the alert so even though I didn't look at it at the critical moment, I could glance at it a moment later and still know the direction of that last hit. My issue with the laser alert us that it will blast when there is CLEARLY no laser source around. Inside my shop. In heavy cover under trees along a remote creek bed deep within a valley at Sequoia Nat Forest, many other places.

I noticed mine shows laser when it’s close to my telephone. Haven’t updated mine, didn’t know if there was a fix for it. I guess not. Is yours hardwired? Any cool mounts?

Not hardwired. i move it between three vehicles, so suction cup and dangling wire.

I'm waiting for Radenso Theia to be released. Covid BS and the chip shortage has delayed it. Until then...just Waze.
