New to the V

Quick question ! I just purchased a CTS-V with 12,000 miles on it . I had a 2017 pro charged stingray before the v and I am familiar with the menu system when setting up the drive mode and exhaust modes in the menu . I want to set the exhaust note to be sport no matter what drive mode I have it in . I can not find that setting anywhere ! Any help would be much appreciated !

What year is your car? Goto settings, vehicle tab, driving modes (I think?) and there is a menu for steering, suspension, and engine noise management. Here you can set the engine noise to be on Track the whole time, or stay with the driving mode adjustment. However I dont think these settings are in earlier V3 models.

Thank you for the reply ! Car is a 2016 . I have gone through the vehicle settings menus and do not find that setting . I wonder if there is a software update available that would allow that menu
I believe that feature was not available in 2016, but was included in a CUE update in 2017.5? Either way I dont think you can update it either sorry. I have a 2018 and I just drive around in sport all the time. I cant find a difference in exhaust between sport and track, and the ride is still nice but sporty. Sometimes I change it to tour if I'm driving on a crappy road in the city for the softer dampening.

A 2016 with 12K miles on it though.. wow what a garage queen! Make sure your tires arent dry rotting but other than that have fun with your new ride. I've tried to get rid of this thing twice so far for its german competitors and I can never go thru with it. The instant torque the blower provides has me spoiled, and unable to deal with turbo lag.
If you search online you'll find the fuse you can pull for 2016 to keep it in sport mode exhaust.
