Hey guys thanks for having me ! First time in a forum so be nice if I post this wrong haha.
I just picked up a black 13’ CTS-V coupe
Car has a fully built lsa shortblock by newton performance in SC.
Mod list is roughly,
TSP pistons and rods
Ported blower with reinforced brick
72lb injectors
Btr 3 blower cam with all supporting mods
(Lifters, pushrods, truunion upgrade)
Full ARH headers and catless X pipe
2.50 upper (unsure of crank pulley size)
Corsa intake, my next question is what can I do next to make more power ? Thanks car is a an auto with a tranny tune
Looking for advice how to make more power as I know the bottom end is ready for more
Car is currently tuned on 93
I’ve been told injectors , fuel pump, and E85 with more boost (pulleys) should be my next move . Thanks In advance new member from NY here

First- Welcome to the addiction

Next:

You sure they are 750 injectors and not 850?

Also what pulleys do you currently have?

And finally, do you have HP tuners and doing the upgrades yourself? Or are you going to take it to a shop to get tuned/upgraded?

Hey ! So they are 72lb injectors, I was wrong, I just bought the car and am not exactly sure the pulley sizes ! I know it’s 2.50 upper not sure of crank pulley
I am going to do the work myself and the car is tuned on HP tuners currently . Thanks In advance

Cool that’s my initial plan. Once that’s done what pulleys would you go with . I want to max out the ported blower somewhat reliably

You need look at the lower to see if it has any indication as to what size it is. Or measure the lower to see what you have now.

Gotta know where you are starting from.

Do you have HP Tuners?

Also does it have a wideband installed?
I can’t speak to what the max pulley ratio you can go but I’m on a cam/ported blower/heads with a 2.45/8.6 on e I get 760ish to the tires.

Ok I will do that today and find out .
i don’t have a wide band installed and yes it’s on Hp tuners

Mid 700s wheel is my goal . Do you have a mod list ? Are you SBE ?

What HX do you you have? Is there a tank? Are you monitoring IATs?
Hey thanks for response I’m very new here , what’s HX mean
Also no tank and no way to minter IATs right now .

Welcome to the Modness!
Thank you ! Happy to be here
HX= heat exchanger; refers to the "small radiator looking" coil that is mounted in front of the actual radiator. This coil has coolant (separate from the radiator coolant but its the same product) circulated through the "brick" which is the coil unit that is inside the supercharger. This circulating coolant removes some heat from the air inside the supercharger (aka charge-air cooling) by drawing heat into the coolant, then the coolant rejects some of the heat to air passing through the HX.."Intercooling". The system from the factory has only borderline capacity for heat removal. EVERYTHING that is later done to increase power, necessarily increases HEAT and the factory intercooler system is not able to keep up, so the intercooler system (HX, brick, pump, hoses) all need to be improved, usually with larger HX, pump, hoses, sometimes an added reservoir (tank) and the brick needs to be reinforced to protect it from high-boost related damage.

(sincere apology for the ELI5 version, but I don't know...what you don't know?)

Thanks for the awesome response !
the car has a reinforced brick I know for sure
But from what I can see from lying under it it looks like the HX is stock in front of the rad

Looks to be the lower is around 9.5” and the upper is 2.50
This is what stock looks like.
Note: aftermarket units are usually bare aluminum AND branded

I really appreciate this , yup looks like mine is stock . Any recommendations ? I’d like to go aftermarket and do this stuff first before adding power like you said . I’m not opposed to a tank in trunk either, this car isn’t a daily

I meant do you own an HP Tuners package (Interface and Software).
I run the track attack HE like many others and I’m happy with it.
