Hey guys. Finally was able to purchase a V after years of wanting one. Found a 2011 auto coupe owned by an older man with pretty much all the mods I wanted already done. Basically a full bolt on car, flex fuel etc. Going to swap out the current FIC injectors for ID 1050s and have black market racing retune it. Excited to see what she’ll put down.

looking forward to learning more about the platform and hopefully meeting some other V people in AZ.

Welcome aboard! May I suggest you consider a chrome delete as well, IMO looks great with the thunder grey. I am however a little biased because I have a tg coupe with full chrome delete…..

I’ve always used ID in all my builds and they’ve been great. Call it personal preference I guess

Don’t forget the headlights! There are a few threads here that detail the process of taking them apart if your up to it, or you can send them out. It’s pretty easy and makes a huge difference

I’ll have to find the headlight threads to see what you’re referring to. Much appreciated

That's your prerogative, but the $1k plus could be spent somewhere else. I was recommended FIC injectors by pat g and he is one of the top tuners in the country.

ID is worth the money to me from my experience.
coupling them with the dsx flex fuel kit and aux pump kit and all the other mods, I’m hoping to get some decent power out of the car. So far the car is doing nothing but putting a smile on my face. If all goes well she’ll be tuned next week!

You can bake the headlights in your oven to separate the lens from housing, then you can disassemble all the chrome pieces inside to black them out as well. There are definitely some threads here with step by step instructions

Appreciate that ctarb. I did the same thing on my 4Runner and it was definitely a tedious mod but worth it.

Figured I could list what’s done to the car since I know we all like that as well as pics.
