A little late to the party but I purchased my dream car in mid August. I had posted 4 months ago about potentially buying the D3 Cadillac Legionnaire and thanks to the advice of you members I was warned to run for the hills. Found this one in Cleveland, OH and it had all the options I liked, so I bit the bullet and had her transported over here.

Existing mods when purchased ;
563 HP/568 TQ (on 93 I assume, will have re-tuned soon)
JRi/D3 Coilovers (currently at JRi getting refurbished, they were in bad shape)
9.1 lower
K&N intake (replaced already with an Air Raid intake with green filter)
Kooks 1 7/8 headers
Weapon X Track Attack Heat Exchanger
ZR1 supercharger water pump
Solid Isolator
Jokers performance reinforced brick
Corsa Exhaust

Only things I have added aside from the Air raid are a Ported LS7 Throttle body directly from Tony Mamo himself (terrific guy).

I have studied these forums but like many have more questions than answers still as to how to proceed with my build. Mostly bcuz i'm based in Cali and 91 octane is the best I can do. Goal would be 600-650whp on 91. I'm concerned what limitations if any that will have. E85 is something I may consider in the future but atm don't want to worry about fueling issues.
Anyways i'll ask those questions later in the meantime some car porn

Actually they're located in NC so I had them shipped out Friday and they arrived today to their shop
Hmmmm I'm obviously thinking of the wrong shop. A guy from Washington state took his Coupe down there to be become a beast....reminds of the Hulk. Car is wrapped in Olive Green.

Welcome. I'm in SoCal as well and picked up my M6 sedan in July.

Have you confirmed that the upper pulley and injectors are stock? It seems odd that they did the mods above, but left these off. Why the reluctance to run E? You can run a flex fuel sensor and it'll adjust for different levels should you ever run a blend. E stations are plentiful around here (IE and OC). E, injectors, and an upper pulley will get you to 650whp right away. You'll also want to bail the cats when you get up to that range and get ready for a clutch when you inevitably decide that 650whp isn't enough.

Ah yes that's totally my bad. I meant to put a message saying that my shocks were shot and needed a full rebuild and were sent to JRi. As far as JRG it looks like they're in northern California so pretty far from me. Any recommendations for a shop in SoCal?

Hey BV,
The injectors I've been told have been reflowed. I already purchased a set of 1050x however. I intend to gut the cats as well. I was very surprised the previous owner went lower only. From what I've read here it's normally the other way around and be didn't add a cam either when he did that. I'm considering adding a 2.55 upper.
As far as E85 is my concern is the stock pumps won't be enough. I've been told the dsx aux setup can leak? Drop in fuel pumps via dropping the fuel tank is not in the budget either. I would def go with the aux setup if it's untrue about the leaks

Leaking really depends on said installers experience installing DSX kits. DSX provides a marked tap for the correct thread depth. IIRC the tap or fitting are NPTF, which are different than a NPT, but it has been years so I could be wrong.

No leaking over here and it has been installed close to 4 years.

Apologies for the late reply. That's very encouraging to hear. I'll definitely reconsider it as it's much more cost effective than drop ins. Thank you

Late reply but I would recommend JRG Motorsports in Hayward, CA based on my experience with them to help you reach your goals. They got me to 700 rwhp with well thought out mods and just recently took me to over 1000 rwhp with an engine swap and some more substantial bolt-ons. They have been up to the task on whatever I’ve asked of them. Hope you enjoy your ride and I wish you the best with whatever direction you take :)
