Passenger side under the rocker cover. Yellow and yellow/black wire. Where do they go and what are they? Thank you!

That's a really odd place to have wiring. I'm thinking it's not factory.
It has a grommet that looks factory and wires also look factory. Can’t imagine what goes there
They are definitely factory, I vaguely remember them when I had my interior panels out for some work. They go up into the area for the latches which are obviously exclusive to the coupe. I don’t know exactly what they are for but if I remember correctly one side is pink, pink /black and other side is yellow yellow /black
The door latches properly. No issues there.
It doesn't look to me like those wires are associated with the latches. Why the fuck (pardon my language) would GM have routed the wires to the outside of the body panel way down there, when the latch mechanism is on the interior of a body panel a foot and a half higher up? Especially in an area likely to be damaged in a crash preventing the door from opening electrically. And with the rocker in place, there'd be no way to route the wires out of the area behind the rocker. There doesn't appear to be any exit channel for the wires. Maybe there was an aftermarket "halo" light in stalled in to the bottom of the rocker at one time. Does the driver's side look the same? Where do the wires go on the back side?

I didn’t say they were for the latches they go up into the area where the latches/ seatbelt tensioner etc is. I remember the grommets and the two small wires from when I installed speakers into the the car. As stated above I believe it’s yellow and yellow black on one side and pink and pink black on the other.

Appears to go into the rear side passenger area. I just don’t know why they exit there and where they go. I’m painting the rocker cover and saw these hanging not connected to anything. I’m not sure about the drivers side - I didn’t take off that cover. I still feel like they’re factory. Car is 100% factory - not a single aftermarket part in it.

Sorry I didn’t mean to imply that they were for the latches. The only issue I have going on right now is the trunk says it’s open when’s it closed. I highly doubt has anything to do with these wires.
No sweat, you can’t be on this forum if you can’t take criticism etc. my 11 has them, I don’t remember where they went just that they came through in the area behind the b pillar. If you remove your rear seat panels you’ll see them coming through
I would like to reconnected then to whatever they belong to before I put the panel back on.
Maybe try pulling other side rocker off and see if you can find what they are connected to? Pain in the ass but maybe it’ll help?
That’s what I was thinking - I was hoping someone here knew but I start putting the car apart
Could be wiring for a blind spot sensor if your car is a 2012 or newer. The blind spot mirror sensor usually mounts inside the rear area of bumpers. 2012 & up coupes have the sensor.

You could be on to something there, my 11 has them though. Possibly for parking sensors? Just a guess
I don't have the blind spot mirrors on my 2011. Your car must be a late production 2011. All 2012 and up had the blind spot upgrade. Might be a parking the parking sensor harness like you said. Someone here should know. Might be a side air bag sensor harness. Yellow wires are used a lot for SRS sensors but you would see a warning lamp.
I dont see anything on the parts pages - I looked at sensors, parking and airbag. I have no airbag lights.

I figured it out - its the keyless entry receiver!!! I looked more carefully and found the bracket. Thanks for everyones ideas!

I've seen perimeter Antennas mounted there and in bumper covers to pick up passive door locks . I would call the caddy parts dealer and let them look it up . Even if that one is gone the others will probably work .
