I'm a little confused... what was the 'old' engine? An LSA? With all the same top end and exact same mods?
If yes, then the new one should be doing exactly the same as the old one as they are the same 376c.i.
The older 'looser' engine might have been producing a little above its class just due to being loosened up... but might've also been down a bit due to poor ring and valve sealing.
But pretty close to the new short block unless there were other changes(?)

Any cam, head or blower
Any cam, head or blower changes?
Have you changed the lower pulley?
A 2.5 upper shouldn't net 16psi by itself but boost is essentially restriction... what cam is in the short block? What heads?
blew the motor after a yr of buying it last owner had the wrong oil pump on 😫

Well, you've got a good start on a nice build. You might have everything needed or wanted. You really should do a little detective work to determine what you have and importantly, make sure you DO have those things that are needed to protect your build.
1. You need a pro tune with your level of mods, no question, don’t underestimate the importance
2. The ‘brick’ inside the blower (under the ZL1 lid) needs to be reinforced; might already be, but you should make sure (remove the lid and look)
3. The heat exchanger needs to be much larger than stock. (Might already be)

A few ideas, that’s a good start.

Unless you bumped up the compression you'll be about the same power level. Want more? Cam and e85! You can hit 700 easy. You can do heads and ported blower if you want 800. Great tune is key - make sure you have a reliable/reputable tuner. As is good quality oil and oil changes.

Yes Cam and E85 are the best things I did. I can tell when my e85 map becomes active it bumps the power so much. If you are forged now might as well.
