2 step should not be used with cats

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has installed the MSD 2 step device on their V3? Just wondering how hard is it to install and whats the best RPM range to set it at to take off quick without loosing too much traction. Does it hurt your catalytic converters? Heard of some people damaging them.
