Does anyone have a Milwaukee M18 buffer?
Looking for your opinions.

I just got mine... it has great power, balance isn't bad & speed range is decent.
I bought it since I already had the batteries for my impact wrench

My only gripe is the battery life.
It says you can polish a complete car on 1 5.0 battery... I assume this means a "coat of wax".
I killed 2 of them buffing the trunk & rear panel on my Camaro.

They have 9.0 & 12.0 batteries also, so I'm wondering if it is worth the upgrade.

i think before i bothered with all that I would have just bought a makita or shurwood buffer, the cord doesnt bother me nearly as much as not having the power to get the job done

I like everything about it except the battery life.

The car has 27yr old PPG Deltron paint that is incredibly hard to work with, so I'm giving this buffer a workout.

Spent another 2 hrs with it today... you have to love black cars.
8hrs in & I still have the hood & roof to do.

all the more reason to use a real polisher lol

I really like milwaukee tools get yourself one of their real polishing machines not only will you have a lifetime tool you will give your arms a real good workout. I have a couple that are 20-30 years old used and abused

I have a 30 year old rotary Milwaukee that I used when I was painting cars.

But, I prefer dual action orbitals for modern paint corrections.

put a new 12.0 in it and try to kill it. I own more milwaukee products of the m12 and m18 variety than i care to admit. the new hd batteries make a big difference in power and longevity. give the 12.0 a try , in my high torque impact and 4.5 grinders , it makes all the difference in the world. I use them all everyday in extreme environments.

I hate the weight of the battery more than I hate the cord.
