Hello i have installed a Mighty Mouse catch can and mounted it to the radiator on the ctsv3 and i went check it today and its filled with water seems like water is getting through the hood vent on to the catch can filter and filled up anyone else have this problem? I will look into relocating the catch can to the strut tower but why is it designed this way
yes it can fill up quick if its left for some time, its normal just usually gets sucked back thru the engine so its not noticed without a catch can, the colder the engine is started from the more it will fill, i sometimes empty mine every 2-3 drives so it dosnt build up
That seems possible to me to capture that much condensation too depending on climate and ignition cycles. Just plumb it to the IC reservoir and you’ll always be topped off (jk).
Mine fills with about that much water each oil change (~2000 miles). It’s condensation from the crank case. There’s probably more with e85 than 93. My previous GN did the same thing.
That’s normal. My blown GTO will get that much water in it after a few hundred miles of around town. Just condensation. In warmer weather it gets less. And my Mighty Mouse wild is mounted to the front of the passenger head
