Hopefully I can get some suggestions...opinions might be welcomed if they are helpful. 😆
I dropped in an LSX 376 and from the search function, no one has posted this inquiry in the suspension forum. I did find a post that said it was 120lbs heavier than stock. That 120lbs is making a big difference from factory height. The struts in there now could be worn already but....I think its pretty low so lowering springs are out the question (airride is a last option though).
Does anyone know if when I replace the front struts/shocks, will the factory setup be fine or is there an aftermarket strut that will hold up better with the weight difference? Do I need to order factory height springs but different spring rate, and if so, what spring rate? Maybe the rear raised some due to the front lowering?
Thanks
I attached about the only photo I have that might be stock height. I will get one with the engine installed soon.

125lbs is, what, a teenage kid riding up front? I think you'll be OK
Thanks for the reply. I am pretty sure you are right, I should be ok. (y) 125 lbs is not that much. Of course, I have sat on the front end of cars and never had it "drop" as if it was lowered like this car ended up. I will get a shot of the car tomorrow for comparison. Maybe the struts are just worn. Hard to gauge from a car I have never had before.
