Did a short full throttle run on the interstate and got a check engine light and went to limp mode. After shutting the car off it went back to full power. The code was for low fuel pressure at regulator. Logging on HPTuners shows at WOT, the demand fuel pressure is (I think) 2900 psi but actual is only 800. My tuner/mechanic thinks it the fuel pump.

Any input from here?

Are there two pumps? and if so, which one?

Should it be replaced with a factory pump or is there a better choice? I should be in the 700-750 hp range.

This is happening to me now. Solution is adding Meth and/or a cam with a lobe that adds more fuel. I'm going the Meth route but eventually will install a cam as I would like to go full e85.

90% of the time its a rear low pressure fuel pump. It happend to me and I changed it (thr one in the tank) its rrally cheap but the lapor could cost you. Yheres no access to the tank so youll have to lower the tank out of the car. If its the rear fuel pump just change it to the factory option.
