The post was about my cats going bad and oem and billy boats high flow cats are out of stock until March. Was looking for another brand that was plug and play. I did not want to delete or use a tune. Someone made a suggestion about a motorsport facility in South Carolina but I forgot the name.

Well...yes...kind of...wanting to buy some high flow cats and looking for suggestion from people's experience. I thought that is kind of the premise behind forums is for suggestion to problems that others may have had in the past? I would also think it would be okay if someone suggest a place to buy used ones...am I missing something? Might also help if that person that deletes the thread give the op a message letting them know what was wrong with the thread and maybe give them a chance to correct it?

Totally understand your point of view but so many scammers come in and try to skirt the rules about buying and selling that mods, I'm not one, will yank it.

It is hard because maybe a member has OEM cats out there sitting around.

I'd try the FB groups and see if someone has any, from when they went cat less

Thank you for letting me know and I hope you get to feeling better. As for not posting much I typically just come on here for research. I have not done much to my v due to it being a limited production (1 od 80 in usa. 2013 silver frost coupe). My original post was just about buying from a vendor and it wondered into buying used cats. To be honest I had not even thought about that angle. I truly do not mean any disrespect and hope it was not taken that way. Fully aware of scammers out there. Just a man not wanting to wait three months to get his car fixed and looking for alternatives.

Let’s remove this thread and if you want to start a new one, knowing the rules and how not to violate them, then that’s probably the best option.

Fwiw, I wouldn’t get so hung up on the rarity of the car, just enjoy it.

I’m sure my combo is pretty rare, having a solid roof, but not once did that factor into anything other than how hard I searched and how hard it would be to find another, though I would get a manual the next time.
