Building over 1k RWHP

Hi EVERYONE!


Well, first off all. This is such a wonderful forum. Because It has wonderful people. This is the only form that I would conduct such a thread. I think every one would benefit from this thread.

I own a 2012 CTS-V Coupe Automatic transmission which is my First owned car been waiting 3 years to get it since I first heard about it. I'm lost and confused since this is my first time doing a build. But, I have some back ground. So, correct me if there's something wrong with the build.

Goals:-

  • Over 1k RWHP
  • 1/4 less than 9.8 or below @ over 140 mph
  • 0-60 runs in 2.5 or below.
  • Top Speed 200 - 220 mph

Ridiculous? read about "Isambard Kingdom Brunel".

- Complete RHS LS Block 7.0L Motor
- Whipple 2.9L Super Charger
- NW 102 Throttle Body
- Balancer
- Stainless Works 2" primary headers w/high flow Cats
- Borla 3" Race Exhaust System
- Circle D Transmission Build
- Torque Converter
- Methanol Post Blower Setup
- BAP and ID1000's fuel system


Cooling

- D3 Aluminum Radiator
- KDI Front mount intercooler + pump
- D3 Transmission Cooler
- D3 Differential Cooler + Pump


Handling

- Modular M15 20x9.5 F + 20x13 R wheels
- 255/35/20 F + 345/30/20 R Nitto NT05R Tires
- D3 Sway Bars
- D3 Lowering Comp springs
- D3 Chassis Bracing
- D3 Steel Braided Brake Lines

Step two, Shipping. Late-April. INCOMPLETE.
Step three, Fitting. Mid-May. INCOMPLETE.
Step four, Results. Late-may. INCOMPLETE.

First off - WELCOME ABOARD!!!! Glad you found us. I am not the guy to give you build suggestions but I will say you come to the right place for sure. This should be very interesting.

Holy crap this will be sweet. I wish i had that kind of money!! I can't help with that kind of power but I'm sure the "K" or the "D" in KDI will be posting soon and will help you make a beast. Good luck and keep us updated!!

Uhh, you're going to want to add heads to your build estimate... IJS..... Oh, and I'm guessing you're going to want a good torque converter with that built tranny...

... And since we're dreaming here - I'd say you should go ahead build a 440 CI RHS block (not an HRS block).

Get a nice 240/250 .670 114 cam grind to top it all off.

Oh, and you're going to need headers...

And a CF driveshaft...

And D3 Half shafts... I could go on and on. Where are you located?

I'm going with the 2" primary from stainless works. I have no I idea which heads should i mount on the engine right now. hope fully KD would come up with one soon.

Do you have a link I could visit to look at the 440 CI RHS block?

I feel you will need twin turbos to try and reach your goals.

RHS 427
All pro heads 6 bolt
Marcella intake manifold
1.875 turbo manifolds
Id2000 injectors
Return fuel system
Ams 1000 w/co2 assist
Built trans
Fender flairs or wide body
And a few more little parts

I know a guy here in dubai, he has a great workshop named Lap 57. He will do a wide body on my CTS-V. This is his work VVV



Ill have the rears just like that. for only $1,143 both sides. labor is cheap here.
