Yes. Second time on the driveshaft. The first one was a stocker, this one was a carbon fiber pst unit. It broke when the car spun and then hooked.
I race at BG several times a year with the NMCA, NMRA, and Buick Nationals and have never seen the track in such bad shape. As the day progressed it did get better

At least the driveshaft is a heck of a lot easier to swap than the rear end.

They are fixing it under warranty.

Yes, it was without nitrous. I was having such a terrible time getting a hold of the track, I didn't dare try the spray. I could barely get in the 9's

It was great to put some faces to screen names and watching the big dogs crack the 9's, even on a greasy track was great ..... but, unfortunately for my wallet, I think it may lead to more mods. I really regret not bringing the DRs (chicken shit that I would break it and have to get it back to NC) but I won't make that mistake again!

I'm in for a different track. 15 hour drive there to do what I can in my gravel driveway was pretty depressing.
