I am new to this forum and I should have joined back in 2014 when I purchased my wife's 2011 CTS-V Coup. She's been garage kept and a daily driver for 6yrs for the Mrs. until she retired in 2020. Never driven in the rain unless caught in the rain while out and about. Everything is still stock except for the battery, front rotors, pads and tires. I had the front bumper repainted last year (chips over the years) and front splitters replaced. I really really love everything about this car. The pictures are as she sits today. This Tuesday (4/4/2023), I will give her, her first full decontamination detail.... wheels off decontamination, paint correction followed by Adam's Advance Graphene Coating.... the full arsenal. I'm looking at 5-7 day process. I'm retired as well so I not in a time crunch. I will send pictures the journey. I hate to strip her down because she looks really really good but paint correction is need and it's time.

I like to keep her original. I may change out a few things under the hood and get her tuned without breaking the bank. I'm on a budget😬😬😬. But before any of that can transpired, I have to payoff my other new toy.....

How rusty are your rotor hats? At 30k my 2011 has original stoppers on it and I’m about to change them before the rotor hats rust into the hub assy. First time I took the wheels off it was a chore because they were oxidized to the rotors after 10 years of the wheels never being removed by any of the previous owners

The rears look brand new but the front....well, they need a good scrubbing and a coat of paint but really not too bad

Any updates on this? I am very interested as to the paint correction process you use and the results you get.

Not at this moment. Just had new feet (tires) put on Monday. I suffer from a neuromuscular disease so I need to pace myself. I will start the clay process tomorrow followed by paint correction. I'll be using Sonax Cut+Finish followed by Perfect Finish

I'm just now seeing this post and the answer to your question is.. "Yes!" It took longer than expected due to first time performing a PC then I had to order new compounds and pads to get the job done. I'll post pictures hopefully by the weekend. Working on wheels 🥵🥵🥵

Thanks....just finished a full decontamination followed by paint correction and coated with Adam's Graphene Ceramic Spray coating last week. Doing wheels this week and I should be done by the weekend. I'll post pictures when everything is complete.
