Is my car a unicorn?

Just got a 2018 CTSV and was playing with mpg in my 1000 mile trip back home. In the highway cruising 60-70 I got 25mpg, cruising 70-78 I got just under 23. Though these were rated for 21 on the highway

Active fuel management + stiff tail wind= better gas mileage. E85, all the wheel horse power and consequently more frequent fill ups is what most of us are concerned with here.
Not saying I bought a ctsv for mpg lol just stating I was surprised as all
I realize you're new to the whole CTS-V thing, but if you're getting good MPG from the car, you're not driving it right. Just sayin'.... :)

Measure mpg using real world info and not trusting what your car tells you. Number of miles driven divided by gallons of fuel as shown at the pump.

I try to do that every now and then (and making sure I use the same gas pump both times), but it’s hard not getting into boost for ~150 miles or so to make it accurate.

It's a hybrid
Best average I’ve ever gotten according to the car is 29 MPG over 50 miles.

I wish, it would’ve been more enjoyable. Pretty sure I got that number Road tripping the car to Indiana for a half-mile race. You get into those long, flat, narrow roads through corn fields and people do exactly 55 MPH. Forever.
On my 1k mile road trip to SoCal I averaged 20.5 mpg on blend of e85 and 91 so that’s not too rare. I stretched it’s legs a few times but mostly cruised around 80mph
Air temperature makes a measurable difference, esp. when you get up in speed where turbulence & friction losses go up by the square of your speed.
You are in the ballpark tbh. I get into the 20s crusing on a highway if I'm not speeding.
I get 14mpg.

Thats about what I get on average myself.
I get 14mpg.
Not bad for your power level (double mine). That’s what I get.

With a little more passive aggressiveness and a more lame "race car," you could be Unavowed' twin!
