I updated my iOS last week, and the very next day CUE wouldn’t let me use my phone hands-free when plugged into CarPlay, though it would play my music. I didn’t drive it for the couple days I was at the conference I drove it to, got back in, and it’s been fine since.
Those with problems, do you connect over Bluetooth or lightning/USB? Wondering if that is a factor. I have had some wonkiness with BT headphone audio independent from CUE. Hopefully 13.1 will straighten everything out
The "critics" have been saying for a few weeks now do not update to IOS 13. Wait a week for IOS 13.1. IOS 13 was loaded on the latest Iphones and they could not remove it in time to ship, so they just released it with 13.1 soon after.
this is apparently a way of resetting CUE. try this?
Turn the vehicle on
Open the CUE faceplate, thereby exposing the storage area behind it
With the faceplate up, turn off the vehicle
Open the driver’s side door
Wait 30-60 seconds with the driver’s side door open
Close the door and start the vehicle
Lower the faceplate
it may also be a bluetooth compatibility issue. even being a "new" car, the BT is almost 5 year old tech in the 2016. not sure what class it is but could be the issue.
Just returned my CTS V lease. It was a fairly emotional event. I loved the V, and she will be greatly missed. On the bright side I got the F90 M5 to fill the void in my HP craving heart. M5 is not as raw as the V, but I guess it was never meant to be. That said, on the street, the M5 performance...
I know about the PDR but it's silly having to play back a recording to know what you got for your 0-60 time. My friends Mustang has a built in thing that pops up on the screen to tell him his times, doesn't the CTS-V have that?
I bought my V about 2 weeks ago and finally got around to take a couple pictures. I bought it from a guy in Los Angeles with 17k miles. So far it's a blast and im def trying to get used to all the electronic this and that and this and that. I had a V1 and skipped the V2 and now I am here.
