I recently was removing the front passenger floor mat off my 2019 Cadillac CTS V and the retaining clip came off also.
Does anyone know how to put back on the floor board?

Those friggin things break on every vehicle I’ve ever owned. Shit drives me crazy. I’d guess you need to pull up the carpet and figure a way to screw it back down somehow. Too big of a PITA to fix that for most tho.
