I'm installing a Fore twin pump system, and as such, removing the dsx aux pump (but saving it for a nitrous fuel system in the future) and moving the flex fuel sensor. There is so little clearance between the flex sensor and the fuel line that I can't get a disconnect tool to slip in. Anyone figured out a way to pop it out?

I had a fuel line that was close like that. I ended up hot gunning the plastic tool to deform it enough to get it around the male fitting that was close like your sensor. It stiffened up as it cooled and I was able to release the tabs. It was a bitch but i got it

You can also get a metal one (plastic ones don’t last more than a couple times from my experience) and file it to shorten it, then clean up the burrs.

I just cut the plastic tool and insert just the portion that slips in and use the rest of the tool to finish.

Thanks y'all...I ended up trimming the plastic on the one I broke in half in the pic. Then I ordered the low pro lisle tool for future use.
