I got an alignment at the beginning of the year maybe 6k miles ago. This is a weekend car but I do beat the crap out of it. I just spent a fortune on new tires do you think its worth doing it again? My front tires had some kind of weird wear on the inside edge. It didnt look like camber wear, more like rot, but the PSSs I had couldnt have been that old. I should have took pictures before the tire place took them.

Thanks. Interesting. My car was last aligned to about -1.4 camber and .10 toe. The specs on page 183 are more aggressive and will likely cause me to wear out my 1600 dollar PS4s faster lol. I dont track the car.

You’re beating the crap out of your V, have bad tire wear, and you’re questioning whether you need an alignment?
Really?🤔 WTH???😂

I’d get another alignment if your worried about the tires wearing weird. The nordlock washers were used on the v2’s not sure the V3 guys have needed them but it can’t hurt

For me its usually based on how many punk kids I hit during my mid-intersection doughnuts. After about 5 bodies, it's time for an alignment.
Holy crap, I laughed so hard I almost fell off the toilet. It's 5 for me as well, but that 5th one just loves to get stuck under the car.

Found the guy who traded his mustang for a V!
Mustang owners accidentally hit the punk kids, V owners aim for them! LOL

Not sure it was bad tire wear. It almost looked like rot or something similar, there was cracking. I forgot to take pics or even check the date code but they were pretty old PSSs. I did get an alignment when I purchased the car as it felt like the rear was swaying under load and it was off a bit. The rear feels better now but with nearly 2K of tires I'll most likely get it checked again.

djdonte, you’re in houston - next time you get your car aligned, have it done at the NTB on richmond and 610. the alignment tech has been there for like 30 years he’s done all my cars since high school. he’ll get it right. his name is Winston. i usually get the 3 alignment program they have. you can literally go everyday for 3 years if you wanted to. it’s like $180. all my cars have been lowered which is why i get the alignment program vs just buying a one or two time deal. but regardless of modified suspension or not, driving around houston it’ll be a good thing to have. super worth it

Well you guys had it right. The rear had camber out just a tad on one side. The rear tires were worn even tho. The front had the toe out a good bit so that would explain the chopping of my front tires. Crazy I had a 150 dollar alignment less than a year ago and only a few thousand miles ago. I hardly drive this car and don’t think I hit any potholes or speed bumps very fast so I’m not sure if the last guys didn’t know what they were doing or what.

Such a pain to get an alignment. Guys today know how to run the machine but not how the alignment works. I end up going home and doing a tie rod adjustment to get the wheel straight. Try to get them to do it and they knock the car out of alignment. I hate a crooked steering wheel...
