Hot start issues

Hi folks, I’ve got a cammed, full bolt on V2 experiencing hot start issues. Cold starts are crisp and instantaneous. Hot starts are quite the opposite. Car sputters and stalls out. I have to apply throttle to get it to fire. I suspect this is a tuning issue? Cranking air/fuel needing adjustment? This just randomly started relatively recently, wasn’t doing it previously. Please advise, thank you.

Tuning. Did you have it tuned, or did you self tune?
Was professionally tuned, ran great no issues until recently.
What fuel are u tuned on ? And what fuel are u running?
Mine is tuned for flex and i run pump e-85 all summer. I have noticed that the higher the ethanol content in the fuel the harder mine will hott start AKA long crank and stumble when first fires

How soon after shutdown are you restarting? Seconds or minutes or longer?
I mean I’ll drive to the gym, get a workout in or go out to eat and attempt to restart an hour or so later.
How long ago was it tuned? Possibly when the weather was different? I forget the name of the table thats would most likely help, like cranking time vs airflow maybe.

Are you familiar with hpt or will someone else be handling this for you?

Approximately 4 years ago. Weather was identical car is a summer only toy.
I would take it back to the shop that tuned it but unfortunately it’s 5 hours away. My local tuner is always busy and I can’t seem to step foot in that place without dropping hundreds of dollars on a good day lol.

Since its been that long and worked fine for years, gonna start leaning towards mechanical. Have you replaced your plugs or wires in the last 4 years? Tunes don't go bad.

Yes just did plugs and wires and heat sleeves no change.

My next go to would be O2 sensors.

You mentioned that you run pretty much all e85 in the summer, I would be curious of injectors too. Maybe try running a Techron treatment thru it.

My mistake, a post while back said it and thought it was you. Do you have your tune file?

What wires did you install?

Did you gap the plugs?

Check your injectors..maybe one or more being stuck open or leaking after shutting down

Summer only toy = maybe you don't drive it that much even in the summer. Just started recently = When was the last time you filled the tank with gas? And when was the last time you dumped some fuel system cleaner in to the tank? Before you rip in to anything, if you haven't already ruled out the fuel system, new gas and some Techron might be a potentially simple fix.

Firecore50 with promod boots and heat socks for added insurance. NGK 7IX plugs gapped to .028.
