This will be my second time, did it last year in a 2005 GTO. I'll be in a white 1980 Malibu wagon this year. Taking the V next year. Anyone else going?

Don't do it unless you plan on making it a yearly occurrence! This will be my 9th year in a row doing the long haul.

I plan to do it next year, and every year after that hopefully. Car is ready now, but NA; next year will be booooosted.

Definitely comes in waves... if I recall correctly, at the time mine was stolen, 5 other Vs in the DFW area were stolen as well. Gotta stay vigilant, police do not seem to care, or are just too understaffed to do anything about it. Doesn't exactly discourage crooks...

5 cars stolen so far on the tour, none were V's but 2 were G-bodies. A Monte Carlo and a Malibu wagon like mine...

Yikes! What that definitely makes me think twice about the power tour...I guess if they post the route info online, that would be like a thief's treasure map.
