Don't do it unless you plan on making it a yearly occurrence! This will be my 9th year in a row doing the long haul.I’m planning on it for next year, most likely in my camaro.
Never done the tour before, any insights?
Thanks
I plan to do it next year, and every year after that hopefully. Car is ready now, but NA; next year will be booooosted.I’m planning on it for next year, most likely in my camaro.

Agreed. It's addictive, you can't just do it once....Don't do it unless you plan on making it a yearly occurrence! This will be my 9th year in a row doing the long haul.
I'll be looking for you. I think I remember your car from last year.I heading out tomorrow and taking my V wagon again this year, blue with Ontario plates. Friends in our group will be in a black V sedan.
Definitely comes in waves... if I recall correctly, at the time mine was stolen, 5 other Vs in the DFW area were stolen as well. Gotta stay vigilant, police do not seem to care, or are just too understaffed to do anything about it. Doesn't exactly discourage crooks...Be careful, there seems to be a slew of people getting their cars stolen this year from one of the local VA LSX fb group I'm in.
Yikes! What that definitely makes me think twice about the power tour...I guess if they post the route info online, that would be like a thief's treasure map.5 cars stolen so far on the tour, none were V's but 2 were G-bodies. A Monte Carlo and a Malibu wagon like mine...
