A 16 coupe huh? That’s a unicorn!
HMI Module - 2015 - V Coupe
Hi guys,.
I've searched for this but could not find what I was looking for.
I have a 15 v-coupe. I've been looking for the HMI module. Everyone I've talked to says it's under the passager side glove box.
I've removed about everything I can from the passenger side under the dash. Only items left are the EVAP and air bag. I have found two boxes:
1) black box pn: 20914768 listed as a heating and air control module.
2) silver box pn: 22899600 - listed gps navigation module.
I have pulled the radio and the motirized screen.
I can not find this black box labeled "HMI" anywhere.
Any help????

I’m sure someone here will be of assistance, but if you don’t have a thick skin your not going to like this forum. This group likes to have a bit of fun but their also sometimes quick to jump all over you. Good luck with the issue and welcome aboard

I believe the one you might be looking for is up under driver footwell behind the steering column but I’m sure someone else will chime in

When you say driver footwell. Do you mean under the carpet? Or is it attached to the firewall?I believe the one you might be looking for is up under driver footwell behind the steering column but I’m sure someone else will chime in

This could be a dumb question so I apologize, but do I need to take the cluster out? Or can I see it from below? Am I able to access it with standard tools or will I need to take the dash apart?Up under dash behind the Column/speedo cluster
If it’s the one I’m thinking it’s buried up there a bit. If you are a small enough guy you can lay down there and look up you can see it. Not sure on access though
