So long story short, my v needs new cats. Oem and billy boats hiflow cats are out of stock till March. I do not want catless due to sound, smell, and having to get a tune. Found magnaflows but crazy expensive. Looked at kooks green cats but don't want a hack job. Looking for plug and play. Please let me know if there are any vendors with a high flow cat system.

I have the Kooks high flow greens. I had a great muffler shop do good job replacing the high flow TSPs, part of the complete TSP header, Xpipe system to stock suitcase, that were restrictive at 700 level.

One possibility is running pig rich if you clogged them. Any issues with overheating the engine?

never mind when it was built, when was it put into service!

few months I would try, a box of donuts, bottle of something- you never know. federal emissions stuff they may make an exception
you might still be able to sign up onto GM's website and it tells you any remaining warranties, but I would at least give it a shot. You have nothing to lose

Update to the problem....went ahead and bought the billy boats high flow cats. After several months of promises two weeks out I got a refund. Found a local shop to install long tube headers and x pipe, new spark plug wires and a tune. Was about $2k but I think I am going to like it. Picking up tomorrow...BTW the dyno says 447 hp with long tubes, cold air intake, cut outs and tune. Does that sound about right or a little low?

Well I'm too late now but I also ordered BBE high flow cats and they kept pushing the date back. I ordered them at the end of November and the last estimated shipping date I got was for June. I found out that streetdrivenperformance sells high flow cats aswell and they are a good bit less expensive! I cancelled my order for the BBE cats and placed the order with SDP. I had the cats here overseas in about a week and install was also no problem. LT headers are just not an option for me over here.

Did you get the high flow cats from street driven performance? Wonder if anyone else has used them with success. If so I’d like to get a set

I prefer cats as friends, not foes.

Yes I got mine from SDP

They are holding up fine. Install was easy. Only thing to note is to reuse the donut gaskets from the stock cats to stock catback, and to remove the driver side cat I had to lift the engine a little with a transmission jack to be able to slide it past the steering shaft. No need to unbolt any engine mounts it just needed a couple more milimeters.
