About a month ago I noticed that my car has a slight "hiccup" feeling at roughly 2600 RPM in 3rd gear. It's not something I've been able to reliably reproduce, but it does happen consistently between 2500-2800 RPM at partial throttle. It almost feels like wheelspin for a split second. The car's an automatic with less then 40k on the clock.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what it could be? It doesn't seem to be getting worse or more frequent, but it definitely wasn't present when I got the car about a year ago.

Are there any modifications done to the car? Has it been tuned?

I think I solved it. I had actually given up on figuring it out, and figured I'd wait until it got worse and maybe be able to track it down then. Unrelated to this issue, I finally had time to install my coilovers last week. Turns out both of my rear shocks were leaking, which I think was the problem. I suspect that the blown shocks were causing a very brief moment of wheelspin which is what I was feeling.
