A couple months ago I became a Cadillac owner for the first time. First time having a supercharged V8 as well and you already know it's a monster. This car is my daily driver and I do rack up a ton of highway miles. I'm looking to do the following mods but would like to know the affects it would take on my car, in my situation, before I do. planning to hold on to this car for a long time

2.4 pulley, solid isolator, CAI, ID850 injectors, 160 degree thermostat, HX, high flow pump for the HX, and obviously a tune to top it off.

What can I expect after those upgrades? Bad idea? Better suggestions for a DD? Please let me know

Thanks

That will be a nice first round of mods, you should see around 550rwhp give or take.

That's pretty much the same as my plans for my DD plus plugs. I'm going with either a 2.45 or 2.55 griptec pulley and I'm considering adding headers.

I'd say skip the ID850's, buy ID1000's and a flexfuel sensor so when you want to cruise or travel and get good gas mileage you can run 93 and then when you wanna go fast pump in some E85.

Could also save some coin and go with fic injectors instead of id.

This. Unless your tuner for some reason will only tune ID's. Don't be surprised if they happen to conveniently be an ID dealer.

I hope I'm not hijacking, but with those mods, are headers pretty much a must-do?
Not at all. Minimal gain from headers until you change cam and really start adding power.

They don't hurt, but I personally wouldn't bother until you go over 600 rwhp on gasoline.

CNC ported blowers, heads from WCCH, new Eaton rotor packs for your LSA blower, Mamo ported throttle bodies and more:
