Define "extreme".

How long do the tires last? Fronts or backs?

I got much better wear from the Michelin PS4s.

Did you have a prob with the bridgestones?

Never tried them.

Originally car came with PS2, I went to AS3s (the car sat a lot for first 4 almost 5 years when I got her and the stock PS2s were showing cracks). The AS3 were doing well until mods over 600 caused traction issues. PS4 are doing well. Much longer than your 9k miles.
turn off the traction control and dynamic stability control and expedite the wear. I get about 10K on mine and enjoy every launch...

Thanks I will try that any otheradvice?
Fuck. I'd kill to get 9000 miles on a set of tires. I'm closer to 5K. The trick, however, is to get the fronts to wear down as fast as the rears. You can't just do burnouts all the time, that's half-assed. You have to carve corners, too.

Fun isn't it. I guess I am slowing down as I get older. On my Corvette I did the 5000 mile tire replacement for the first couple of years. I like the carving corners to even things out. Nothing like an American car for shear horsepower. I miss my BMW for the brakes and cornering but nothing like getting shot out of a cannon.
I went with the square setup so I could swap tires front and rear. 11K is the best I've ever gotten. 9 ro 10 is typical. Enjoy every launch and twisty section. Vs just shred tires. It's a fact, if driven properly. .

Shoot, I've had several sets of Michelins on the car, I think I actually got almost 15k out of one set of PSS's. 2 years ago I put a set of PS4's on the car and I don't drive the car near as much anymore and it was going to take a while still to wear them down to replacement being necessary so 2 weeks ago I put a set of sport cup 2's on the rear betting they'll wear out about the same time as those original PS4's on the front. Still testing there limits and while not a drag radial style launch tire, man you sure can roll into the power down low a lot more confidently.

I run mine with 2-4 Lbs more PSI than the and I get more even wear.. at 32 lbs the inside wore a lot. It’s not getting me to the prescribed mileage from the tire manufacturer but I’m not all that concerned.
I get about 3 to 4k out of my tires

nice, really enjoying the performance of the CTS V
I guess I drive mine like an old man. I got 13k miles out of continental extreme contact sport tires on the rear.

What V do you drive? What size tires are mounted? I looked up the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack and it only comes in the size for the front of a V2, no proper sized tire for the rear.
