I think we need to start posting up groups to challenge one another:

Something like "10 rounds, 9mm pistol, 25 yards off-hand" or "5 rounds, 556 rifle prone at 100yards."

Something to show off what these toys can do!

I would be down for that. Hopefully we could trust people to be honest.
I had plans to take the mother in law to the range sometime soon.

I'd venture to say you got him! What kind of speed were you firing at?
Lol, I think so. Approximately 900fps. Some plinking ammo

Haha, no was wondering what rate of fire that was. I can squeeze off some decent groups with my G19 but it gets pretty wild if i try to shoot at any elevated pace. Don't have a lot of range time or formal training though.

Nothing too fast but the Super V recoil system takes nearly all muzzle climb out so target concentration during rapid fire is relatively easy.

I need to start shooting targets. Just got this project done (well, waiting on the right height front sight) and ready to test fire.

ETA: and two form 4s just cleared! 2.5 months from start to finish!

All I need now is a supercharger that works!

What did you form 4? Individual or trust? I’m at 8 months on a form 4

Two trust Form4s. I submitted in November- apparently there was a burst of activity and I just got lucky. No rhyme or reason from what the pros are saying.

Anyway, I had to refit the barrel a bit after the coatings but I was able to keep 9 out of 10 on a 6" plate at 35 yards on my third mag. I haven't even sighted it in yet. :D

You can see the plate above the cardboard box near the creek.

So obviously this is my latest project- I just updated the trigger to the Apex flat trigger / forward sear setup.

The instructions absolutely suck for a first-timer, but I was able to figure everything out by watching a half-dozen videos they link from their website.

The trigger is very nice though. I certainly prefer flat triggers and installing it essentially out of the box gave me a nice, smooth trigger with what feels like a 3lb pull (to me). Website says it should be 5lbs but either way this will be a great varmint gun for the relative's raccoon problem. :D
