Well, I think I really cheapened up my build, but thought I would share. I'm going to leave the illuminated grill emblem on until I get my billet emblem power coated.

The emblem sticks out a bit as it is quite thick and has a raised portion in the middle back of it for the electronics. This kind of makes it look stuck on, rather than something factory. Good from far, but far from good. Haven't seen anyone do this yet, and wouldn't recommend it, but here it is. The emblem is the latest gen Escalade one.

I think the idea is cool. However I see what you mean by it looking stuck on and kind of not flowing with the rest of the car

I don't completely hate it.
Maybe some work on the grill itself (ie shaving out and embedding it) would make it seem less like a cheap addition.

However for me I think the size of it seems big for the grill itself. Maybe on an escalade, the emblem/grill proportions are better matched.

I think that could be cool if you were able to sink the emblem flush with the rest of the grill. As stated previously, I think the idea is super cool and with some refinement I think it will turn out awesome.

On another note semi related, can I ask what headlights you have?

Yeah, if i was serious about it, I would grind the grill to make it sit flush. I dont think i like it that much.

The headlights i built myself. Did some custom things on them that i havent seen done elsewhere like high powered led light pipes with 2A drivers (most use LED's that are compatible with the stock 500mA driver) and since the light pipes are so bright, I cancel them when signalling like the newer cars do.

Then did the standard stuff like switchback halos, V emblem etched lenses, and demon eyes.
