Front doors don’t unlock

Hello,

I’m having issues with my front doors on my 2012 v2 sedan. At first it was just the driver door. It wouldn’t unlock with the fob or pulling the door handle. The actuar didn’t make a noise but pulling on the handle would unlock the other doors. It would only open with the key manually or by opening it from the inside. I replaced the actuator but didn’t change anything. On the off chance it was a switch I replaced the micro-switches as well but it seems to have made it worse. Now it won’t unlock the other doors when I pull on the driver handle. The passenger front passenger door is now experiencing the similar issues we’re it won’t unlock however the passenger door is intermittent and it will unlock the other doors. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure about the doors with handles (coupe owner), but I went through this twice. First time was just driver actuator in the B pillar behind the door, worked fine for few years. Then passenger started acting up later, prob bc cunt ex wife always closed it hard. Its a fuckin Cadillac, not a used, out of alignment Tahoe door, lol sorry anyway. Basically time went by and recently driver started acting again so I bought both, had them installed and got a call that they weren't the problem, it was the door push button which sounds like your micro switches. If you've replaced both hardwares maybe look at the wiring out of the switch, place that did mine mentioned something about it, forget what. Best of luck

This is always pain when people start talking doors and these electric "pop" style doors. I had this with my front passenger door, changed the micro's and it still didn't work, but I learned that you have to play with the switch assy before you lock it down. You have to put it in loose/ finger tight, then pop the handle in and make sure it is hitting both sets of switches, then tighten the mirco assy down. There is slight movement, and if you just put the micro assy in and tighten then put the handle in, you may not be engaging the switches. just what I recall.. I still have to fix my drivers door.. Heres a head scratcher.. My drivers door will open fine in the garage, but once the car sits in the sun and i try to open, it will make the pop noise once but not open the door.. Fun stuff!!
Good Luck.

Lol, same thing with my ac blender I think. 1st start fine, after some daylight, its starts to rattle or make popping sounds. It sorts itself out eventually and I drown it out with the radio in the meantime.

Thank you all for the advice!
@BlueCoupeV women, can’t live with them….go raiders lol jk
It turned out to be a bit of what @Florida-Vee said about having it lined up and also the micro switches I ordered were defective. One of the pins was missing. I did reinstall it and aligned it for shiggles and it worked to unlock all other doors. But I’m guessing the missing pin still caused it to not unlock the driver door. After exchanging it for another one the door is unlocking as it should along with the other doors at the Pull of the handle. Now to replace the passenger side
