Hey, I have a 2011 cts v and I came across a built ls3 based 427. I can't seem to find a straight answer if I would be able to swap my motor out for the 427 using my heads and blower. If not, what would be needed to make it work, if it would work at all. Thanks

An LS3 427 is 4.070 bore with 4.1” stroke

LS7 or aftermarket blocks are usually 4.125 bore and 4” stroke

And this would restrict the Intake Valve size to 2.165".

Unless this engine is fitted with a well ported aftermarket head,
this engine will suffer from too little valve area, or flow area.

VE%, and the torque curve will then fall quickly after 'Peak Torque' RPM.

It has a scat 4 inch stroke with a 4340 forged crank, I don't know if that helps
Ask if the Engine Block has been sleeved in order to use the 4.125" Piston . . . .
