My lights starting fogging up, it had been getting worse and worse but not to the point of dripping wet.
I had the bumper off over the summer to change out a meth pump and thats when I looked at my headlights and noticed small cracks starting to form along the seam. So I figured I had nothing to lose by smearing some clear silicone on them. I did it very neatly, just a thin coat . even with the hood open none of it was visible with the bumper back on
When I did it the lights were bone dry and I had left it inside another day to make sure the silicone had fully dried
This may work for you and you dont have to split your lights apart. As the lights get older you have more of a chance of the lenses cracking then you are left with aftermarket light replacement lenses
I also installed lamin-x film after polishing. This combination of things has made me very happy as I no longer want to split my lights, paint the inside, etc
Your results may vary, but you literally have nothing to lose trying
Good luck!
