I’m in hot ass TX as well, but this just seems really high.Same here in TX, when ambient hits 104+ I turn off my AC, because shit climbs to 220 and past that soon after, and this is all with aftermarket Rad +fans... If I keep AC off, it's all good, and AITs stay under 115, after meth kicks in, and ECTs are around 192.

Yessir. My original dyno tune was in the negatives, back when we had the stupid cold couple of weeks. After that, when summer came, my cooling system couldnt cope with heat no more. Thinking it was a head gasket/head issue, I experimented with different shit, and ended up going with upgraded system, and still the same result, unless I turn AC off..Engine coolant temp reaches 220?
hows your engine bay setup ? sounds like an airflow issue maby too much air is getting into the engine bay and not enough getting out makes it a high pressure zone, the engine bay needs to be a low pressure zone so high pressure at the front of the radiator can easily flow thru into it and out of the vehicle, high pressure always goes to low pressure the bigger the differential the better the flowYessir. Laughs in TEXANMy IAT2 are 158 - 176
Yesterday cruising a 70mph IAT2 was 168
Right not at 9:00pm it's 88 with a like like 99
Curious about these. What does this do to your AC’s performance?I live in Miami and I run an active interchiller my iat2 never goes above 10 degrees below ambient temperature
It takes a little longer to make everything ice cold due to the larger heat load but never having to deal with an ice box makes up for itCurious about these. What does this do to your AC’s performance?
if it was that low may also want to check if it got an air bubble. Dont know if you have a tank and or a gauge that tells you IAT2's but pop the hood once in a while while its running and hot and make sure its circulatingToday I recheck my SC fluid, I bleed the system and found it very low in coolant. refilled it for the first time this year. I recheck it again next month to make sure it not leaking, so far so good.
Ok, I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way.when its really hot out I feel like im punishing the car getting on it. May do a smooth highway run but stop and go with high IAT2 no thanks. Ill just take it easy and let it relax a bit
