So after having my 2011 V auto coupe for about a month I decided it was time to take her to the track for some test hits. The track was slammed so I was only able to get 2 runs in.
Temp was about 90 degrees here in AZ and the track was decently prepped. Car was on 17x10 rears with MT ET street SS at 20psi. Fuel was e85. All of my previous cars have been turbo so I’m accustomed to launching with a two step, so this was going to be a trip to get used to launching the V. Wish I could have gotten more than 2 runs in as I feel I could have gotten some decent hard launches in.
These two passes were both basically just rolling into the throttle once the tree dropped. Let me know your thoughts. Mods are full basic bolt ons (upper pulley but no lower)
The 11.6 run was me getting on the brakes at the end as to not get kicked out since I tech’d 11.5 due to not having a Snell approved helmet. Really wanted to get a 10 sec pass. The 11.3 the car hit the limiter on the 2-3 shift for some reason and I had to let off and then get back on it.

Your 11.31 lap and incremental's are almost identical to my fastest run at the end of last season although my mph was 124.3 at DA of 3,000'. Your mph translates to low 11's for sure, but you'll need to improve that 60' and ET, just like me. I run my 17x10 M&H DR's at 15psi on a prepped track and loading or flashing the stock converter still couldn't get it to 60' any better than consistent low 1.60's, although the 11.31 lap 60' was 1.59.

I've installed a 2,600 stall triple disc, lock-up billet converter this winter, so I'm excited to see the difference come May when the track re-opens for the season.

Too much fun huh?

I definitely think I should be able to drop the tire pressure and hit it a lot harder off the line. If I can at least get a 10.99 out of it I’ll be happy.
I’m curious how much a difference it would have made had it not bounced off the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift on my last run.

If you were hooking at 20psi you may not need to drop, at our track I spin at 20psi, but hook good at 15-16. I too, am shooting for the elusive 10.99 with "bolt-on's", but I also know that these next 3/10's are gonna be exponentially harder to shave off! LOL.

I’m going to have Rhett my tuner tweak some things and see what changes with a hard launch

I’d run 1/8th if we had one close just to test launching the car. But we don’t have that. Our closest track is closing so the nearest track to me now will be 2hrs away. Which sucks
