Same question but keeping the 9.20 lower pulley. These guys say they have a 4 month wait. Question guys. I went to a 416 stroker, 8.6 lower pulley from a 9.2 and stage 3 BTR cam from a stage 2 BTR cam. My question is, would it be safe to start the car with the tune for my previous mods in my signature? Thanks in advance

Yea as long as intake and fuel system are the same and old tune was decent.

First I’d like to say thanks for all the input from everyone. Second I think I discovered the issue with my last build. When I took off the timing chain cover, the dang oil pick up tube had come loose and was no longer connected to the oil pump. The dang screw was in the oil pan. Still doesn’t explain no oil though. Third, I have to be the most unlucky dude ever. Car was running beautiful sitting in the garage idling. Oil psi was at 58 and falling slowly. I was putting the skid plate back on proud of the learning experience. The car had been idling for about 10 minutes. Next thing I hear is a tapping noise from the front of the engine. I turn the engine off and investigate. Wait about 20 minutes and restart. All is good. I go check the oil pressure and it’s at 3 psi. I immediately shit of the engine and have been in the house meditating for the last 6 hours. Long story short, I don’t know lol. I’m not in the mood to investigate at this point. Sorry for the novel but it’s been a day lol. ttyl

Hopefully, it is nothing too bad.

So I stop being lazy and start tearing down my last block. I check the main bearings and they all loon perfect. I check the rod bearing and two of the rods have spun bearings. I check the crank shaft and it check pretty good. Now here I am with the dang dang LS3 short block in the car and didn’t really need it. Lesson learned. Note to self. Tear down the first block first to see what the issue is. Dang it man
