Hello everyone, coming all the way from Canada my name is Regi.

I have been dreaming of getting V2 for a long time after I sold my previous v! when my father passed away 5 years ago. As you all know, the V's are holding their value or appreciating wagons made it even harder to get back into a V. I got lucky while browsing and came across this gem for a decent price. This 2010 Thunder Gray manual..without sunroof but has recaro seats. I really wanted a black diamond car and roof but cant be too picky right. It has 69,000kms on it so its low mileage and never been winter driven, ceramic coated, and ppf'd front bumper, hood, roof, and lower rear qrts. Aside from that,it is bone stock and super clean car.

As I drove 2hrs home in the V, I knew I had a few things that had to be done asap. First was the exhaust, the car stock just has 0 presence or attitude for my liking. I get that is what the car was made to be a sleeper, its just not my style. Muffler and 2nd cats were deleted within 24hrs. Next was deleting the chrome, I grew up hearing chrome wont get you home lol. I started wrapping the window trim and the front hood and rear trunk pieces with a gloss carbon fiber which actually contrasts the paint well for the look Im going for. Tomorrow will be a nice ceramic tint at 15% all around, and very light tint on the taillights and 3rd brake light.

Future mods:
Grom V-line android/iphone integration module
Black grills
Plastidip the wheels black or dark gunmetal gray
Short throw shifter
Backup camera of some sort
Carbon front lip and sideskirt ebay special
Carbon rear spoiler ebay special
Lowering springs

This will ideally be the setup for a long time, I would like to do a pulley with cold air intake and a proper corsa exhaust.I feel like the SC is so damn quiet as if its not working lol.
Hope to be on here lots asking for help on many things as I learn this car. Here are a few pics to enjoy:

Sounds like a great find for a great owner.
Glad to see you’re back in a V, and want to treat it right. Yes, headers and intake would let her breath, and whine!
Thanks for the pictures!

The *upgraded back up camera if you want to go OEM is part # 23171840

*don't know how much upgraded it is vs what you already have but this is what some users have gone with if you want to keep oem

Hey right on. I know the pano sunroof looks cool but these slicktop cars are rare. I felt the same way as you did but now that I've had mine awhile I actually think I like it better.

So there were only 167 Thunder Gray manual sedans ever made, and only 39 had slicktops. For the specific year 2010, only 33 Thunder Gray manual sedans made and 10 had slicktops.

I like my grom v-line a lot. And for carbon parts check out street driven performance.

If I ever get into another V, I'll find a BD w/ a sunroof and we can trade, lol! That's exactly what I'd want in a V2.

Yes intake and headers will come in time. Im very happy with it and the subtle changes to appearance will go a long way.

I havent done much research on this yet but Id like to add backup cam to the car. I dont know if the Grom is only meant for the oem backup camera and has inputs for other cameras. I like the idea of the oem camera but dont know how difficult it is to install and what programming if any needs to be done. Ill start a seperate thread on whats best to use with most recent options.

Wow I knew the color was rare along with being manual, but the no sunroof being 1 of 10 is cool.

LOL Deal

Congrats!
I went out of my way to find a slicktop after owning a V2 with a roof. No leaks, creaks, corrosion behind dash, or puddles on the floor. Slicktop is the way to go.

1000x this. I fuckin hate sunroof/moonroofs. They have been nothing but a headache in pretty much every car I have had
