Apparently this is common, and I understand it to be caused by a V3 that was improperly lifted. I know some people have 'fixed' theirs... how do you do it?

Rocker molding needs to come off so you can get access to the lower fender bolts where they mount to the body, with some padded pliers, you can gently reshape that area and get it back into position. Happened to me on my old 02 camaro ss, previous owner wasn't aware he was lifting it wrong.

Sorry it happened to you but good timing for me. I’m dealing with a fender alignment issue from the crappy shop that vinyl wrapped my car. I’ll try to do as @suicide_machines69 described since I’m not letting that shop touch my car again.

All that money for a wrap, and they missed the jack-point altogether. Don't worry, the dealership will do the same thing. Any body guy can pull that out, paintless.
