Exhaust rattle

Noticed a rattle that comes/goes right when I lightly get on the throttle. Tracked it down to the rear muffler area so not sure if that’s know to fail or I have a heat shield touching something. Will dig in more today but wanted to know if anyone else had issues with exhaust rattling.

Thanks!

It could be the valves

Thanks for the input Matt!

I’ll see if i notice it with valves closed, but if that’s the case looks like I need another oem muffler. You have any used ones available?
No we don’t. 99% of the time I recommend keeping them as part of the build rather then dropping $2200 on aftermarket axle backs most find too loud after mods.

That’s what I figured, I totally agree.

Once the exhaust is hot, it rattles in either mode juts less audible when closed. Looks like I need a new muff…

Have to determine the source of the rattle
For sure. Just banged around with rubber mallet and 99% sure I duplicated rattle on driver side near valve.
New muffler is pricey af and used are sus so not sure what I wanna do.
Also how tf does it connect to mid pipe near axle? Looks like slip fit
