Posting this because I’ve read quite a bit on this topic but haven’t actually “seen” a lot on this topic “pics or good pics” to help me make a confident buying decision. I went out on a limb like many others and lucked out. Hoping this may supplement the other great information here to help others considering CF upgrades.

I just bought EOS carbon fiber mirror covers and decided to take some high res pictures comparing their quality vs. OEM and it’s a pretty damn close match and more than acceptable for the price. The compare pics are against my OEM rear CF diffuser. The EOS CF side skirts are exactly the same weave and finish as the EOS CF mirror covers.

And for the Weapon X vs. EOS quality compare discussions, EOS looks nearly identical to OEM, is lower cost, and ships immediately. While decisions like this are up to the individual who does their own best research, my going with EOS looks perfect against my OEM V3 CF package and saved me enough money to buy more CF parts, EOS front air vents were delivered today six days after placing the order.

I can almost guarantee WXM is selling the same parts as EOS. I purchased CF elsewhere (I forget) and it came in an EOS box. Vlad the owner is pretty active on the CVT-V FB groups. He will give you special deals if you text him and are willing to venmo him. I do not have the mirror caps but my friend has those and the side skirts. I have the hood vent, spoiler and splitter. The fitment is not as great as OEM but everything else is more than acceptable for his prices. Thanks for the close up pics.

I think you mean street driven performance which Vladi owns and not WXM. His carbon fiber products are EOS products.

The only thing that WXM sells for V3s and others do not is a rear CF diffuser. But considering they only have a picture of a mold on their website, I wouldn’t count that as a readily available product.

I believe that the only reason people may is because there are so many questions on quality and not enough information out there for consumers to make informed decisions. If EOS put out better high res photography showing these type of details, they’d probably swoop up any carbon fiber business that WXM has.

From my experience in comparison shopping for carbon pieces, I noticed differences between EOS and WXM rear spoilers. The EOS rear spoiler’s carbon weave is not “book matched” in the center like OEM, while the WXM is identical to the GM spoiler, which are both “book matched”. This is why I purchase the rear spoiler from WXM, which is of excellent quality and looks and fits like OEM.

When I spoke to EOS a couple of years ago about book matching the rear spoiler to match their front spoiler and hood vent (which are identical to OEM), they stated they were not offering a book matched version. Hopefully this will change because otherwise, the quality of the EOS rear spoiler looked great.

Other than the “book match” issue, the EOS rear spoiler is of good quality although the carbon weave only goes one direction. It is strange that EOS can “book match” their hood vent (which is excellent) and front spoiler, but not their rear spoiler.

Everything else EOS make looks good although the front spoiler, which is of decent quality, has some gaps and does not fit as well as the GM part. It is good as a consumable part since it is prone to road damage and will need to be replaced periodically.

Here’s a couple of pics of my EOS front spoiler. Have compared fitment to OEM and found it very similar. Installed mine on top of existing plastic spoiler, maybe that’s why it fits snugly. There’s one small gap on the inside corner about 1/16” in the same spot on the OEM. Since my local roads are in such bad shape this is a good replaceagle item.

good call out on book matching for potential buyers to be aware of and make their own call. I'll post some pictures later on what that looks like for anyone here who doesn't know what they is.

Hmm I never noticed the CF on my wing not matching up like that. I will admit the front splitter does not fit perfect. You say you installed it over the factory non CF spoiler? That would have saved me a lot of work lol! Also the hardware EOS sends you is pretty much useless. For the front splitter I had to reuse the factory screws and for the rear I had to buy my own bolts. Also on the rear spoiler there is a large gap between the brake light and the spoiler that could let rain or car wash water in. There is a drain on the trunk panel but I put a little silicone to seal it up. All in all for the money I'm happy.

I went with WeaponX for my carbon fiber hood vent, front wheel spats (or guards), and rear spoiler. I also got the new 3rd brake light for the CF spoiler. For the front splitter I went with EOS as I know it's going to get damaged in the future and at $450 a pop vs. $1300 means that I can replace the EOS units 3 times for the cost of an OEM unit. I had no issues with of any of the parts I got from WeaponX except that I had to grind down the tab locations a little on the hood vent. The EOS front splitter fit just fine, but isn't as thick as the OEM unit, but who is going to notice that at 100 mph? A little advice - use short screws with you install the trunk spoiler.

The screws EOS included with the spoiler were too short I had to get my own. Both my EOS hood vent and spoilers needed the fastener holes dremeled out a bit wider as well.

Only things EOS I'd use (and do) are the side skirts (Rennick Performance no longer makes the true CF ones that EOS copied) and the disposable front splitter (I went through 2 GM OEMs). In my opinion, EOS is STILL overpriced for what you get...it's simply one layer of "wonky" CF that's cleared over a fiberglass skeleton. Fitment is only about 80-85% of original. I'd never put any EOS piece on a car higher than a rocker panel, there's that many defects.
